Hello! I'm Rheka, a data science undergraduate from University of California, San Diego who loves transforming datasets to something useful.
I'm particularly interested in the topics of data analystics and machine learning. I'm currently seeking internship for summer 2025!

Last summer, I interned at BDO Consulting, a leading financial advisory firm, as part of the IT team. I developed interactive Power BI dashboards to support client decision-making, managed and queried databases using Microsoft SQL Server, performed data cleaning, and did analysis with Microsoft Excel.
Worked part-time as an Executive Officer for Student Relations at Edmonds College. This experience has increased my leadership skills, enhanced teamwork abilities, and fostered meaningful connections within the school community by being a student representative.
This project develops a machine learning model to predict the severity of wildfire damage to structures based on their physical attributes, construction materials, and external features. We performed model comparison on Logistic Regression, Random Forest, LightGBM, and XGBoost.

Worked as a team of two where we worked together to analyze food.com recipes. We investigated whether the food that are considered "healthy" is really actually healthy or unhealthy using the sugar and fat content of each recipe. Here, we performed data cleaning, EDA, feature engineering, Random Forest classification model, and used plotly to create interactive visualizations.
